Adaptor Voltage

Suggestions for a reliable adaptor/voltage converter?
I'm traveling to Greece soon and want to be able to use my hair dryer and most importantly my flat iron while I'm there but do not want to ruin them as my iron is really expensive...does anybody have a suggestion for what kind and where to get a good adaptor/voltage converter for traveling abroad?
If you are at a hotel they have them.
If not you must check the wattage for your appliances.
Most convertors are low wattage around 500w or so the iron and hairdriers are around 1500ws. so will burn it out.
Consider even buying a cheap hairdrier there.
If you are from the North America this can then be used on other holidays
