how do you get a cat to top peeing in the house?
I have three cats and have had them all for several years. Recently, one of the cats (male-neutered) decided to start peeing on everything. Backpacks, luggage, carpets, bedding, you name it. He completely pee'd the perimeter of one bedroom, we had to pull up the carpet, padding and seal concrete. $2000 bucks later, he stil tries to pee in that room. We now keep all bedroom doors closed, and all luggage put away.
We've added litter boxes and made sure they are cleaned daily. We've also taken him to the vet...he just keeps doing it.
We are desperate and really over it...but it's my daughter's favorite and it's not an option to get rid of him.
Short of taking him on a long ride...any suggestions?
