You can make her hair from crisp white cotton as we have done in the photographs or use cotton fabric of your choice if you prefer golden or brown hair. We have made Emily-Jane from all white cotton to demonstrate clearly the detail of the doll construction but an alternative option would be to make her legs from stripy or dotty fabric - instant pretty tights! The felt shoes and bag are very simple to make from offcuts of coordinating felt. Materials needed for one Ragdoll: Approximately 110cms x 1m wide cotton sheeting - perfect for recycling. Permanent ink fine nib pens in black & red (or embroidery thread if you prefer) Polyester soft toy stuffing 200g Matching thread, Paper or card for printing pattern pieces.
