Electronics banned on flights?

Is this true? I'm going on a 16 hour flight in two weeks or so, and I don't know what I'd do without my mp3 player.
No - it is not totally true
The clamp down was eased the other day and is now at the discretion of the captain.
If you read the article, it said that there are additional security measures but is not across the board. The electronics ban may or may not be enforced on your flight.
