Does standing make your calves larger?
I want to make my legs look smaller, but I'm not sure if I stand more, my calves will become more muscley. Thanks!
Standing will allow the blood to pool into the legs. It could cause foot and leg problems. It taxes the circulatory system. It could cause cramping. It won't make muscles. For muscles to develop, there must be work performed by the body against a force. For bone health, walking is preferred. Walking creates stress through the skeletal system, forcing the bones to become stronger and resist breakage. To have legs appear smaller, wear boots. Wear one tone of clothing in a straight line.
