Does anyone know of any street teams or where I would go about hiring a street team?
Hello, I'm going to be moving to Dallas, Texas next month and I am a rapper/producer, and what I wanted to know is does anyone know of any good street teams, regardless to their location, that for a payment that promotes artists. I mean I have family down there plus an old friend that lives down there as they are involved in music as well, but I just wanted something to fall back on just in case artists don't want to network with each other (like here in Toledo, Ohio thank god I'm leaving soon) but anyway, any ideas, I'm looking on yahoo and google right now as well.
I'm in Dallas and there is a pretty good scene here. The best advice I can give to you is to network by going out to clubs and meeting people and supporting artists that are already here and build connections. Street teams are pretty much grassroots efforts that are all about making and building connections. The best way to do that is get involved with the local scene and start meeting as many people with the same goals as you can.
