Any child/kid here with DIVORCED PARENTS??? Come on... Anyone else from a Broken home?
How do you Cope with You're Parents divorce..
& how to deal with your dad(who has Like Full Custody) Marrying another Woman....
My parents never got divorced.
Instead, they stayed together for 25 years and decided to make each other's lives hell by constantly arguing, eventually leading in my father getting cancer and dying. I know, right?
First, you have to accept that your parents are divorced. They no longer love each other, and therefore shouldn't be forced to stay together, especially when they're unhappy.
Here's a pretty vague example: You buy a top that you really like at the store, and when you come home, you realize that you don't really like it anymore. It doesn't look good, it doesn't fit, whatever the reason, you just don't want the top anymore. So, if you have the opportunity to exchange it back for money, why wouldn't you? Why do you have to be stuck with a top you're unhappy with? If you have the opportunity to be HAPPY, then why settle for mediocre?
Of course, the difference is that the top would only be affecting you, and nobody else (such as children in a divorce).
Believe me, I think you'd rather have your parents separated then forced together, unhappily. That's how my life turned out. You have to sympathise a little with your parents - they obviously weren't very happy.
Again, back to the top. You return it, but instead, see a pair of cute earrings. Now you want the earrings instead of the top. So you exchange the top of the earrings.
And here is the transition to a new spouse. Again, as the child, you don't have much control over who your father falls in love with. If you get boyfriend that you were deeply in love with, and then your mother being upset about him because you spend more time with him than with her, you wouldn't be very happy, would you? You'd be mad at your mom for not liking your boyfriend.
The same for you father. He loves this new woman, and if you don't like her, it'll probably upset him. Of course, your happiness is a big part of his life, and if you're unhappy, he'll probably be unhappy.
In the end, you'll have to understand your parents motives. They divorced and re-married not because of something you did. They did that because they weren't happy - doesn't everyone have the right to be happy?
