How old is my glass pepsi-cola bottle?
It is a 16oz (1 pint) clear glass bottle with the writing in the glass. It is 7 1/2 inches tall, says pepsi-cola on one side and pepsi on the other. It says no return above pepsi-cola and no deposit above pepsi. On the bottom it says not to be refilled.
Can anyone help me?
i've been looking online nd have had no luck finding the age of the bottle.
It SOUNDS like one from the early to the mid- 1970's.
The 16oz was before they sold liters.
All soda bottles were glass far into the 70's, along with things like catsup, mustard and mayo.
Without a photo, we're guessing, but I can assure you that it is by no means an antique.

Found it, your bottle hit the market in 1971, in 1972 Pepsi came out with a NEW LOGO ... BUT they did not replace the 16 oz bottle and instead came out with a 1 quart bottle. Then in 1978 they decided to bring back the 16 oz with the new logo.
Your bottle was sold somewhere between 1971 and probably 1973, until that supply of that bottle style ran out.
And it's worth about $10.00 in perfect condition.
