do you get money if you go to disneyland on your birthday with a deluxe passport?
my friend told me she went to disneyland on her birthday this year and since she had a passport they gave her $69 instead of getting in free. is that true?
If you have an annual pass, you can either get a birthday fun card where they will put the value of the birthday admission $69 on it. You can use the Birthday Fun Card to buy things at Disneyland, California Adventure, or Downtown Disney.
or you can get a Birthday Fast Pass which allows you and 5 friends a Fast Pass for every ride without waiting.
Sometimes what happens is that your birthday may be a blockout date. If that happens you can get free birthday admission.

If your Annual Passport is not blocked out and is valid for admission on your birthday in 2009, you can choose one of these birthday treats:
* A birthday fun card with a value equal to the price of a 1-Day/1-Park Disneyland® Resort Ticket* to be used at participating locations for certain purchases including select merchandise, Disney's PhotoPass® on-site services, and tour experiences; or
* A 1-Day/1-Park Disneyland® Resort Ticket for you to use any time until your next birthday; or
* A special birthday FASTPASS®** ticket for select attractions at the Theme Park you visit on your birthday.
If your birthday happens to fall on a day that your Passport is blocked out, you will receive a 1-Day admission ticket to the Disneyland® Resort Theme Park of your choice valid on your birthday.
