how much spending money would you take to disney orlando?
we are going in september we have got all the flights,hotel and tickets. we just don't know how much money we will need to take for food? there are 4 of us going 2 adults and 2 children they will be 7 and 5 when we go. is food over there expensive?

Breakfast at the resorts is usually about $8.00 per adult and $5.00 per child. Lunch is about $10.00 per adult and $6.00 per child. Dinner is about the same, unless you go to a sit down restaurant. You'll definitely want to go to at least one restaurant while you're there, and those prices range from $20 a person to $50 a person - all American dollars of course.
You'll need quite a bit for food, and don't forget you'll want to get lots of souvenirs too! Be sure to bring an extra suitcase, or lightly fill the ones you have to make room for the goodies you'll be bringing back with you! You can buy suitcases in Disney, but they're expensive!!
You would really benefit from the Disney Dining Plan. You can call a Disney Vacation Planner to get details on it and to add it to your vacation. Basically, for about $30 a person per day, you get a quick service meal (which would cover lunch), a snack (like ice cream or popcorn) and a sit down dinner (like the ones that cost $20-$50 a person). This way, all you really have to pay for while you're here is breakfast, and you can even run to the gift shop at the resort to get doughnuts and cereals and things like that to eat which can also keep your costs down and leave more money for souvenirs!! (trust me, you'll want a lot of them.)
