How to increase punching stamina (Wing Chun)?
I've been practicing my Wing Chun punches. After I counter by trapping my opponents hands I push them down then start a chain punching. When I start I can get about 10 vertical punches in 5-8 seconds ( Which I direct to the face, neck and sternum). It gets the job done but I get tired and my punches becomes slower and weaker. At home I take one of my duffel bags bags and fill it with lots of clothes and hang it on my door. Anyone have some tips on how I can improve my punching stamina.

All punches and for that matter especially Wing Chung kung Fu must be form lose to tight. Make sure you practice your chain punches very slowly from relaxed to tight just at impact. Often a student will fight themselves by not practicing relaxing their muscles when delivering and retuning the punch. This ends up fighting against yourself and is extremely tiring. Most if not all movement in Martial arts should be relaxed until the point of impact. this maximizes speed of delivery ot the block or punch or whatever the move while not exerting a lot of energy. It is a mind set as well. It takes a lot of practice doing things slowly with deliberation and precision. You are on the right track practicing at home. Make sure a lot of your practice at home is on technique: this way you can build muscle memory. Also ember you must focus on breathing at the same time. I notice a lot of students holding their breath during the chain punching speed drills. This is a definite energy thief.
Try relaxing and doing slow drills at home for a few weeks. I bet you will see measurable improvement in energy.
