Backpack vs Tote Bag for high school? Which is better?
So I'll be going to high school next year (10th grade, I went to a junior high which was only up to 9th) And I want to take a tote bag to school, one of these 2:

but I'm worried if I'll have too many textbooks to take back and forth. I'll probably have 3 textbooks for classes at the most, along with a binder, a few folders, and a couple notebooks. Do you think it's reasonable to take a tote bag to school? I won't get shoulder/next pain..? Or should I play it safe and just take a backpack?
I know, probably sounds like I'm making a big deal, but it'd be cool to take a bag, but not if it's a bad idea. It'd help if you told personal experience. But thanks!
I've been thinking about this lately too, and what I've decided to do is use an old tote for the first few weeks of school and if it gets too irritating then I'm gonna buy a backpack, but if I love it, I'm gonna buy a new, nicer tote to use daily. I recommend you do the same.
