How much power needed to charge iPod Touch 4G?

I have been looking into a wall charger for my iPod Touch 4th generation. Does anyone know how much power is needed to charge my iPod? I have been looking into a Griffin Technology powerblock dual universal charger which says it gives 1Amp per port, but not sure if that is enough. Thanks for any help
