Where are the sounds located for MSN Messenger on my hard drive?
I have a windows 2000 machine running the win2k version of msn messenger, and there are no sounds. I've tried to adjust for the sounds under the control panel, but I can't find the .wav files of the MSN messenger sound.
I've looked under program files/messenger, but they're not there. Anybody know where they're hiding. Can I find them on some other computer and import them from there? Many thanks.
Try the "media" folder under "windows". I could be wrong, but there's a lot of sound files there.
Correction... On my computer, C:Program FilesMessenger has four .WAV files. If they're not there on your computer, I don't know why.
