Stock Broker Internship - London - Who should I go for?
Hi all!
I'm trying to look for an internship as a Stock Broker this X-mas or Easter and could really do with some advice!
I've just finished my placement year as a Media Sales Executive in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cold calling
- Account Management
- New business acquisitions
- Negotiating contracts
- Reaching Key Performance Indicators’
Key Achievements:
- Target average: 129%
- New business acquisitions: 81%
- Revenue generated: over £130,000
- Highest earning employee since my start date
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You are pushing a placement for Christmas but you may get lucky. Competition will be extra specially fierce as alot of the banks are not hiring pushing students into broking from banking.
Most of the large banks have brokerage divisions (UBS,Bank of America, JP, Barclays etc) also.
Otherwise start at the top of this list and work through it
