What do you do if you and your husband can't agree on a name?
I don't want to keep fighting about it, but it's stressing me out. We agreed on a girl name that I originally came up with, but we have totally different ideas about boy names. I like cool names like Sawyer or Brodie. In my opinion they're not too boring but not too crazy, either. Yah, kind of trendy, I know.
But he comes up with very dramatic names that I just can't agree with, like Christoph, Dominic and Damien (sorry if that offends anyone).
I've tried finding a middle-ground with classic names such as Jack, George, Thomas, etc., but he won't budge.
I don't want to be all mean and say, "I'm the one giving birth, so I get the final vote." But I don't know what else to do? Were you/ are you in this situation, and what are your thoughts?
Just wait until the baby is born, I'm sure that once the baby is here choosing a name will seem easier!!! Maybe have a list with the names you like and the names he likes and see if you can agree on once the baby is here!!
