Removing pen ink from dyed lambskin leather?
We have a retail store and just received a shipment of leather coats. It seems somewhere along the chain of export and import inspections, someone doodled on the shoulder of one coat. I've read answers to similar questions here, and most say rubbing alcohol or hairspray containing same. I tried a little on the inside of the jacket, and the cotton comes away with the jacket color. Though I don't see a spot left, the area has about 7 lines over a 4 inch square section, and I'm afraid even a slight alteration in color will be very noticable.
Leather cleaner, nubuck cloth ,followed by a protector....
