Do I really need a laptop backpack?
I just bought a 13" macbook for school. I won't be carrying the laptop with me all the time, just every now and again. Could I just buy a neoprene sleeve or something and carry it in a regular backpack or is it worth the extra money and size to get the laptop backpack?
If you ned to but a new back pack I would go ahead and buy one that will hold your laptop, if you do your research you can find some that are very comparable to a regular backpack. IF not a neoprene sleeve will serve your purpose just fine although some of them can cost as much as a backpack.
I recently started back to college after a 16 year layoff and found that when I was looking for a backpack, I found a nice one that would hold my laptop for only $10 more than one that would not. Ultimately it comes down to what you feel most comfortable with, I am sure you will get several responses to this question, take in what we all have to say but let the decision be yours and not ours.
