I need packing help !! Trip from Calif. to Minn.?
I plan on checking 2 bags. I would like to bring mylaptop, which counts as one carryone. I could do that and a large purse and be fine. But--I bought mr bro-in-law a large carryon for a gift. I thought I could fill it and put it in my large suitcase and then used the smaller suitcase for clothes. It doesn't fit. It's too big to use as a carryon. What should I do?
You are not going to be able to bring everything you want without having to pay for something.
And, since you don't really want to compromise what you want to bring....you have to just realize that it is going to cost you $50 to bring your laptop (or whatever the extra bag charge is).
Either that or just collapse and ship the gift carryon bag to your bro-in-law.
