Can you carry large luggage on national rail east coast? where do you store it?
Yeah you can. At the end of each compartment there is a luggage rack. You can put big suitcases on it. If you are worried about leaving it alone, just ask to book a seat near to one of the racks when you book your ticket. There is also overhead storage space.
