Does Heat Stretch Leather?

I just bought a new leather jacket and it's a bit short.
I know heat can damage leather as well as stretch it a bit.
If i expose the jacket to heat to stretch it out, say from a radiator temporarily,
will the leather expand and stretch a little bit?

I do not believe so, I think you will hurt it.

For leather boots, you get them wet and wear until they are dry to stretch out.

Niether of these work for a jacket.

Maybe you can put it on a good hanger and get some weight to hang off the bottom of it to stretch it like those shoe things that stretch out shoes.

Ask a Dry cleaner, they may know a lot about fabrics and what could help.
