Does dyed leather (genuine) burn? Is this real leather?
I bought a pricey purple leather purse secondhand (Balenciaga), but I want to check to see if it's genuine. If it is real, then it should be real leather. I've heard one way to test leather to see if it's genuine or not is by burning it. However, will dyed leather burn regardless, or will that test work? How can I tell if it's real leather?
