What are some cool gifts for a trip to Europe?
My boyfriend is leaving on a trip to Europe this year and for his birthday I'd like to get him something unique that he could use for the trip. I want it to be something cool to have, but something that he could use. Something more special than a toiletry case or leather luggage tags or something....any ideas?
What about...
- a cool satchel for him to use on a daily basis. over the shoulder or something.
- a watch with double time (one for europe one for home) on the one face
- Lonely Planet guide
- a hamper with heaps of different stuff like berrocca, bandaids, first aid kit, panadol, no-doz, quizz books, magazine, toothbrush, string, safety pins (you will be surprised!), mini scissors
- a pocket language guide.
- a series of letters, but he can only open one in each country so he thinks about you along the trip 
- a blow up pillow and sleep sheet
