How to get from Rogers Park to O'Hare Airport?
I need to get to the airport with luggage+car seat+baby. Which method is best (public transportation)? Which train stops actually have working elevators you can use to switch lines?
O'Hare is roughly 15 miles directly west of Rogers Park.
It would be ridiculous to take a train 11 miles south to the Loop, connect to another train and take that train 20 miles back north and west to get to O'Hare.
I don't know where in Rogers Park you are, but you can take the 92 Foster bus or the 81 Lawrence bus directly west to the Jefferson Park Blue Line station and then take the Blue Line four stops to O'Hare. If you are further north, you can take the 290 Touhy bus to the Cumberland Blue Line station and take the train two stops to O'Hare. Both the Cumberland and Jefferson Park stations have elevators available.

But if you are traveling alone and carrying 1) a baby, 2) a car sear, 3) one or more pieces of additional luggage, it is going to be virtually impossible to get around on public transit. I hope you have help.
If you are traveling alone, I would strongly suggest calling Go Airport Express and scheduling a pick up. The fare is $36 one way (round trip discount available) and they will take you door-to-door and help you with your luggage. A taxi would cost probably around $40, but if more than one person is going, you can split the fare between you.
