Can I avoid import tax by flying abroad?
Can I avoid paying the thousands of pounds import and VAT I get charged when importing from the US?
A plane ticket would only cost a few hundred pounds and the goods would fit in my luggage (hang luggage even) so I could go and pick them up and fly back. It would save me thousands but would it all be legal? Thanks.
Really? Why's it illegal? Surely, if I went on holiday to America, I could bring stuff back couldn't I?
Some family are going on holiday there in a few months... would they be breaking the law if I asked them to bring some stuff back for me??
