how can i make my dog loose weight?
my mum and dad went on holiday and instead of feeding meg half a tin of meat and half a tin of dry i gave her half a tin of meat and a tin of dry. She is massive now. i have walked her once everyday for an hour since, and she has been pooing weirdly. (could it be to do with the fact i gave her rice?)
please, any suggestions welcome xxx

You can introduce her to a treadmill and put her on it for about half an hour a day. You can just sit next to her on your laptop (if you have one) to pass the time. There are plenty of videos on YouTube on how to teach a dog to run on a treadmill. I'd say because of her size and age set it to about 3 miles an hour. On top of that take her on the hour walk as well. You could do one in the morning, one in the evening. Also try buying some extra-low calorie food for a while. That should put her down to her usual weight!
