is there a law saying that what ever you bring into the country you ar responsiable for your property?
If you walk through passport controll and get stopped by uk border agency and get searched by customs, where they search your suitcase and get the all clear. then everythings fine.....well what happens when the friend you are travelling with has hand luggage, has lets say for example money laundering and they declare its theres, and lets say you for example you get the blame even though its not your bag and you did no carry it or even packed it. and you gets the thousands of pounds fine for nothing, and your friend is scott free for actions they have broken. so is there a law stating when you travel your luggage is your own? how does someone innocent clear there name? or are uk border agency breaking the law for there own reasons? all answers would be great as this particular topic we are debating on.
Even in the UK it is your right to go to court and plead.
You don't have to pay the fine right away. You can plead not guilty and put up your defense.
