Is itunes safe to download?

Whenever I go to download Itunes this orange padlock comes up on the web address which means it is not 100% safe, if it was it would come up green
I got a trojan virus when i downloaded itunes the last time, how can i download it safely

Yeah, as long as you're getting it from the apple website it will be virus free. Sometimes it takes a while to download iTunes so make sure you can wait for it when you start downloading and installing. Good luck!
