Adult packed lunch ideas?
Why is it that there is so little on the net about Adult packed lunches as opposed to childrens? Adults, especially diabetics have to carry food to work. What do you take on your picnics, packed lunches etc?
Needs to be suitable for diabetics!
I am bored to tears and banging my head against the wall re sandwiches! I need something different that will sustain me but keep my blood levels steady! I am SO unstable at the moment, hypoing 3 x day some days. Other days I am as high as the proverbial kite!
Well I get really really bored of sandwiches too. I quite often make a big cous cous salad and that way I keep at home in the fridge and its enough for two or three days. The same with pasta as well
You could take some soup in a flask as well, it will keep warm.
I took popcorn today to snack on throughout the day.
I eat lots of fruit as well at work.
