Are there any white sandy beaches near puerto plata (Dominican Republic)?
Hello,
Were leaving from the Uk to Puerto Plata (Dominican Republic) on Monday and realise that the south coast has white sandy beaches and where we are going has yellow beaches. However are there any white sandy beaches near Puerto Plata , or are they only in the south west/east

On Samana Bay DR,
Cayo Levantado is a small island in Samana Bay.
The sand here is white and powdery; the turquoise waters crystal clear, perfect for swimming and snorkeling.
Puerto Plata has nices beaches with gold/beige color sand.
