Adobe premiere pro audio is going to the wrong layer?
I have a weird problem with Adobe premiere pro. Lately whenever i put audio into the time line it instantly goes to audio layer 5 even if it doesn't exist it makes the layer itself and stick in there i tried putting it in other layer but it wont let me i also get the there is a thing that you drag to the specific layer you want the audio to go into but that doesn't appear most of the time and when it does it doesn't let me click it how can i fix this?
It usually means the audio in the clip you are using does not match the audio layer type for the layer you are putting your video. Most of the default adobe layouts have audio tracks 1-3 as stereo . If you place a video file that has a mono sound layer in it, it will automatically create a new mono track. The way to fix this is to right click on the clip in your project bin and select "modify">"audio channels" and then change propertis to "mono to stereo". This will create a dual mono stereo track.
