What edition of Barbie is this...?

I found 2 special Barbies at the thrift store, and I don't know what editions they are. They are very high quality, not plastic, not the regular kind of Barbie. They are heavy, and obviously collector's items. One is a redhead and it still has it's jewelry on, which is a silver chain with blue sequins and beads. The other is a brunette with bonde highlights. Any help is really appreciated.

These sound to me like Silkstone barbies. They aren't old, they are actually fairly new, came out in the last 10 years or so, but they are highly collectible. They were considered limited edition which means produced in quantities limited to 35,000 or less. They tend to feature special fabrics and details that set them apart from other dolls, and are designed for collecting and displaying. Now most Silkstones fall under the colour code category, meaning they are produced in numbered editions of 25,000 worldwide or less, and only available at select retailers.
The one with the brown hair and blonde highlights sounds like Highland Fling Barbie (linked below), but the red head doesn't sound familliar. If you could provide more information, I could definitely helpyou out, but on a quick search the only redhead silkstone barbie that has a silver necklace is The Siren Silkstone, but there is no blue in the outfit. Can you describe the appearance of the doll? Hair up or down, long or short, where is the mole located, colour of eyeshadow, etc.?
