i have the money to buy either of them but i really dont know which one would be the best all round pet as i really would like to have it for christmas

I would pick the beardie, chances are you can get a captive born baby with not much trouble. If the CWD is an import you have a lot more chance of something being wrong with it. Beardies are
also much more comfortable being handled. CWD will still tail whip you even when you think
they are tame
