AIRPORT SECURITY SUITCASE QUESTION!?
Okay, I'm leaving on a school trip to D.C. on Monday and I have a few questions on what I should/shouldn't bring. The items that I am uncertain about are about the items in my suitcase that goes through baggage claim.
Will they allow a can of hairspray (will it be confiscated because they think it might explode under the pressure?)
Will they confiscate glow sticks or search through my suitcase thinking that it's a bomb?

You can carry aerosols such as hairspray in your checked baggage with a maximum size of 3.4 oz/100ml.
The glow stick would probably count as "Non-flammable liquid" which you can carry in a 3.4 ounces (100ml) or smaller container.
3-1-1 for carry-ons = 3.4 ounce (100ml) bottle or less (by volume) ; 1 quart-sized, clear, plastic, zip-top bag; 1 bag per passenger placed in screening bin. One-quart bag per person limits the total liquid volume each traveler can bring. 3.4 ounce (100ml) container size is a security measure.
Check the TSA website for prohibited items.
