In reguards to the oil leak... WHY cant they use a balloon?
If they can push a tube into the pipe to pump oil out why cant they use the tube to push a self inflatable super nylon balloon that they can inflate, while on the inside, to plug the leak???
Inflatable packers are a major part of oil industry drilling operations but BP must have determined that one wouldn't work in this case.
