Brake Job cost? How much SHOULD this cost?

2 brake calipers w/hardware, Brake pad set, brake shoe set, wheel cylinder, brake hoses left and right front, brake fluid, brake master cylinder.....I, for one, dont believe this was all even necesary. I think my teenage son was ripped off from the get-go. But I'm just wondering your thoughts. Cost 325 Labor 364 Parts.

that actually seems kind of cheap for all that work. i would love to see the old parts. without the master cylinder and brake hoses it should easily be 700 bucks. without knowing the pre-repair symptoms, i would not accuse these guys unjustly. if indeed your brake pedal was traveling to the floor and a caliper had become stuck, then all would be called for. hope this helps.
