Safety during Holy Communion?
I have been to several churches during the past decades and have participated in taking wine and bread during communion. Some churches pass a single wine vessel from person to person and hand them a "clean" white cloth to wipe the edge of the vessel so the next person does not get contaminated. I know the germ theory suggests that germs take no vacation during church. Why in an age of Herpes, flu, strep throat and dozens of other known illnesses, can this procedure continue? This is not meant to criticize the value of breaking bread and drinking the wine, but surely the health departments should step in and make it safe. Eh?
I forgot to mention that this is on the planet Earth. Sorry.

Yeah, churches are breeding ground for germs and ideal conditions for germ transmission. You should also protect your children from priests with sexual issues as well.
